We were tasked with creating four stamps about a historical or famous individual. I decided to commemorate Whang Oda, an iconic tattoo artist specializing in traditional Filipino Tribal Tattoos. She applies these symbolic shapes and forms by tapping the skin with a stick and needle from a lemon tree.
